Pittsboro Police Station

Pittsboro Police Station Expansion | Pittsboro, NC

Project Overview

Frank Land Design provided pre-design civil engineering services to support the feasibility and early planning of a Police Station building and site expansion for the Town of Pittsboro. Working in close coordination with Hobbs Architects, PA, our team evaluated site constraints, development regulations, and infrastructure considerations to help establish a clear, informed path forward before design and permitting.

This early-phase effort focused on understanding what the site could support, identifying potential challenges, and providing the Town with the information needed to make confident decisions regarding future expansion.

Our Role

Frank Land Design served as the civil engineering consultant for the pre-design phase of the Pittsboro Police Station Expansion. Our role was to evaluate zoning and Unified Development Ordinance requirements, assess site constraints using available GIS and aerial data, and translate those findings into clear documentation and conceptual plans.

Results

Frank Land Design delivered a clear, decision-support package that helped the Town of Pittsboro understand development limitations, costs, and opportunities early in the process. The pre-design work established a strong foundation for future architectural design, budgeting, and public review of the Police Station expansion.
